BidNobble is a Java based auction tool for eBay users. You can track eBay auctions and the snipe tool allows you to schedule your bid to be placed seconds before the auction ends, avoiding driving the price high early in the auction's life.

Review by wayne: I used this prgram successfully in 2006 but recently when I tried it the software could not get the server time from ebay and presumed that there was 16000 days to the end of the auction (2/5 - 29-Dec-2007)
Review by ginkgosy: There is still a bug in this software that lists some auctions as "closed" when there is still 8 hours to go, as such it is very unreliable and you cannot rely upon for scheduled bidding (sniping). It appears that development on this program ceased about September 2006. (2/5 - 14-Apr-2007)
