Converts DNA/protein sequence to a MIDI file

Bio2Midi converts the text of a DNA or protein sequence to a MIDI file, which you may immediately audition, or import into any MIDI sequencer for further compositional processing. Choose to listen to the sequences as 4-note DNA bases, or as 20-note protein amino acids, or both at once. You can select specific data sections to be translated, called exons and introns, and mark areas of interest to be played in a different instrument.

The company announces the software as free. After you install it and try to kill a process a popup informs that only the pro version which is paid can do the job. This is a bad fait commercial
The software is not bad, but the support and the message boards are a disaster. The administration is heavy handed and arbitrary in their decisions. Trying to get a real answer to a question
Sadly I have to agree with HJ. Stay away from the associated message board if you can, and use Fertility Friend software if you want a free version of the Ovusoft program.
Most CORRUPT Software. Stay away from it. After locking your files, forces you to but the buy the license. And no option to uninstall.
Thank GOd I didn't have important files stored. Had to rebot m...
