Use BarcodeReader-ActiveX for recognizing barcodes from images or data streams to quickly get all barcode parameters. It supports all major barcode types, reads barcodes printed on all surfaces and recognizes all barcodes from an image at a time regardless of their orientation and location. The component can read corrupted barcodes, supports blurred, noisy and low res images. It is delivered in a single .dll, so it's pretty easy to distribute.

AVS DVD Player FREE 2.4

Instead of playing the DVD, it starts loading from the disc, and freezes the computer before the disc is "loaded". Never got beyond a screen saying "loading please wait - 6%".
