I have tried this software and of course you can use it. I like that it is that simple, but unfortunately you can not get colors from other color systems than RGB. What's about CMYK, HSV and so on? Another point is, that it is not possible to adjust the color. So, I prefer the tool from sttmedia.com/pipette With this tool you can do all of this thinks and it is free and portable!
