 Renames .chk files stored in FOUND folder aft

One of the problems running scandisk is that if it finds FAT chains or MFT records without any corresponding files, it creates its own set of files, typically in the format File0001.chk file0002.chk etc in the folder named FOUND.
When there are only a few files it is possible to guess what they are and rename the extension accordingly, however when there are several hundred or thousands
of these files the task becomes a nighmare

excellent for just about any kind of cd. I have tried it with "HORRID" cd's, scratched, grooved u name it. This product helped it all.
same result as James Selleck... compressed 60 page PDF filled with bitmap graphics and resulting file was slightly LARGER than original.

throws error code 1 when trying to access one of the convat program files. no debug information is given so there is no hope for me of fixing this.
I tried several programms to recover corrupted jpg's this was the first to yield accepable results. Easy to use programm. Demoversion cannot save results.
