Compress 2000 is a well-behaved Zip/Tar reader and writer. It only saves when you tell it (unlike all other archivers) and it sports a Microsoft Office(tm) like interface with customizable tool bars and menus. Fully drag/drop and copy/paste compliant. Feels like Windows Explorer(tm), so you can easily add folders to your archive.

Instead of playing the DVD, it starts loading from the disc, and freezes the computer before the disc is "loaded". Never got beyond a screen saying "loading please wait - 6%".
