Is a cute little utility that's designed just to open and close your CD-ROM drive. This tool very convenient if you using remote desktop or, say, you have your computer under the desk and CD Eject button is close to Reset.

Doesn't work, looks rather nasty too.

I installed this and tried it, and it's actually a lot more work to use than just pressing the eject button on my CD Drive. You have to manually specify the Drive each time, and check a box to indicate whether to open or close it.

But what's worse is that after I uninstalled it, it left a file called diskmxl.dll in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WBEM - which took over my WINLOGON.EXE process and was doing nonstop reads of my disk.

Whether this is malicious I have no idea, but it looked very odd, and I had to run System Repair to get rid of it ... even my special 'Delete on Next Boot' utility couldn't get rid of this diskmxl.dll file.

Approach with extreme caution.
