Universal Simlock Remover 1.09

The program has a very small amount of phones (my v3 is not there).

I wonder who writes comments like Eddie's?? Looks like he is informed and everything, except that his "v80 v220 E380 C450 C650" entry in USR just does not exist. Eddie: why bothering writing anything when you obviously have not seen the program at all??

In most cases you need to downgrade your bootloader but it does work for the V3. This is a 3 step process(takes about 2 mintutes) first install Universal Simlock Remover(found here) After that is done. open it up, click the plus next to motorola and select the motorola v80 v220 E380 C450 C650 Unlocker. i know it doesnt say V3 but it works trust me double click on that then boot your phone up in bootloader (turn it on and hold *and#) then plug it in2 the computer and click unlock. a message will come up saying "performing cumming" LOL and then it will say complete or something like that and VOILA u have just sucessfully unlocked your RAZR V3

this program seems to have usefull features for some mobiles .. but the name "universal simlock remover" doesnt fit the program in general

i installed it and it does not even want to start i spend about about 5 hours in this.

I think this would be an awesome tool (especially since it is free) if there were it supported phones that people still buy and use! There were hardly any Motorola phones in the list.

I guess if you have your phone on the list, you'll be able to use it. Otherwise, no way.

I have Motorola V552 and Samsung R225m both not on the list.

They claim to be able to unlock almost all mobiles - including Motorola V3. I downloaded this huge beast and installed. Opened the prog and found a small handful of Motorola phones supported - BUT NOT V3! The list of phones supported is A LOT less than the claims they make. I wonder why...
