Dave's Sweetie: |
Welcome to Dave Straayer's home in
cyberspace.
Well, it’s about time for another update! (Saturday, January 5th,
2008)
Finally
bought a new camera today! After how
many years of the old Ixus I bought in Amsterdam. The new Samsung has video capture mode, and
you can see a short video tour of our condo.
Just right-click here and
save the avi file to your hard disk.
When you get it (it’s big, about 108 megabytes – you’ll need a broadband
connection to do this!), you should be able to double-click on the .avi file
and, with luck, some program like Microsoft media player will open it and play
it for you. Pictures taken with new
camera are here.

The Photo Gallery is now over 9000 images! It is maintained by an evolving program I am developing in Visual Basic. The program traverses a directory tree of images, building screen-sized copies for web viewing, plus "Proofsheet" images that allow you to click your way through the library. It also builds the HTML pages that link it all together to make the library accessible from the web.
