For the avoidance of doubt, this notice is aligned with the Java SE technology
licensing terms established by Sun Microsystems.

The Excelsior JET Runtime is licensed for use exclusively
in General Purpose Desktop Computers and Servers, defined
as computers, including desktop, laptop and tablet computers,
or servers, used for general computing functions under end
user control (such as but not specifically limited to email,
general purpose Internet browsing, and office suite productivity tools).
The Excelsior JET Embedded Runtime
may be used in systems and solutions that provide
dedicated functionality (other than as mentioned above) or
designed for use in embedded or function-specific software
applications.
The Excelsior JET Runtime license is only valid for applications
designed to run on general purpose desktop computers or servers under
end user control. If you are targeting embedded systems, you have to license
Excelsior JET Embedded instead.
The above prices are for single-seat, single-platform licenses
with Standard Support.
Discounts apply to volume purchases and dual-platform licenses.
An active Support Contract also entitles you to receive upgrades at no extra cost.
