About Data FormatsMS Excel
Data will be delivered in Microsoft Excel 2003 compatible (.xls) file format. Please keep in mind the Excel has a 63,000 row limit restriction. So datasets with over 63,000 records are not available in this format.
MySQL Dump
Data files in in MySQL file formats can be downloaded in a raw MySQL cross compatible file dump. The file will have the required create table statements and all of the insert statements for each marketing lead scripted in the file. If you are familiar with phpMyAdmin, then this will only require a simple 1 click import, and your new MySQL database will be up and running.
CSV (Comma Seperated Values)
The CSV ("Comma Separated Value") file format is often used to exchange data between disparate applications. If you are using a special application to manage your marketing or business leads, this is probably the best option for you. Most applications that will allow you to import data will accept csv files as a base option.

Database Update Process and Acquisition
The U.S. Public Libraries Database Database is available for updates from the data broker every 120 days. Clients with Resell Rights licenses are granted the first update release (if dataset is part of a standard update cycle) at no charge. Additional updates and all updates for FULL rights license holders are 25% of the license cost. Updates can be accessed and purchased from your client account.

Academic Libraries: An academic library is the library for an accredited degree-granting institution of higher education or a non-accredited institution with a program of four years or more. An academic library provides all of the following: (1) an organized collection of printed or other materials or a combination thereof; (2) a staff trained to provide and interpret such materials as required to meet the informational, cultural, recreational, or educational needs of clientele; (3) an established schedule in which services of the staff are available to clientele; and (4) the physical facilities necessary to support such a collection, staff, and schedule.
Public Libraries: A public library is established under state enabling laws or regulations to serve a community, district, or region, and provides at least the following: (1) an organized collection of printed or other library materials, or a combination thereof; (2) paid staff; (3) an established schedule in which services of the staff are available to the public; (4) the facilities necessary to support such a collection, staff, and schedule, and (5) is supported in whole or in part with public funds.
School Libraries: A School Library Media Center is an organized collection of printed, audiovisual and/or computer resources in an elementary or secondary school. A school library makes resources and services available to students, teachers, and administrators.
State Library Agencies: State Library Agencies (StLAs) are the official agencies charged with state-wide library development and the administration of federal funds authorized by the Library Services and Technology Act. StLAs provide important reference and information services to state government and administer the state library and special operations such as state archives, libraries for the blind and physically handicapped, and the State Center for the Book. The StLA may also function as the state's public library at large, providing service to the general public.
