Review by goodman: I want to detect proxy servers aswell by using php but for some reason it wont work for me. I am going to be switching my site to server beach within the week but it wont work on my current server and want to know if it will work on server beach if I switch. I am currently running apache on linux and have tried using the environment variable HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR but for some reason it doesn't seem to detect anything. I heard that it is an uncommon environment variable unlike REMOTE_ADDR so it might not be supported. Is there a way to add this functionality to my site and if so how? (5/5 - 18-Oct-2006)

This proxy tool is really easy to setup... just download it, install it, then setup your router (if you have one) and away you go! It has loads of neat features too like bandwidth monitoring, user accounts, live updates etc. It gets a 5/5 from me! (5/5 - 10-Dec-2006)

Review by al_j4m4l: Oopss.. after download, and before install it, I scan hopster.exe with symantec antivirus, and it found trackware.webhancer, a kind of spyware which monitor our browsing activities and send our secret information to the remote server of hopster, so I think it's dangerous pal! If they can get it to work consistantly this would be an excelent product but version one has several issues.
Wow! I must admit I was skeptical at first, but after trying this product I highly recommend it. 1000+ errors on my PC were fixed, and now it is performing much better than it has in a long time!
