Review by A. Orcan: XXClone worked like magic in my case. My system drive (cloned) crashed, but backup (clone) drive worked just as if it was my original system drive. XXClone works as if you have a dual boot system, with a menu appearing just before Windows log-in page, giving a choice to select the cloned or clone volume. After a calamity, one can use the clone to create the original system drive. The only problem appeared when I tried to try a similar software. I had to uninstall XXClone, but dual boot still functioned. I will probably have to install XXClone and try to change my OS to its original form again. (5/5 - 2-May-2008)

I tried many virtual CD emulators, many of them caused my test computer to crash or malfunction, nut not MagicDisc. Unlike other programs, when it was installed, the Windows "New Hardware Found" message appeared in the tray. In other words, it emulated new hardware. My only criticism is that it does not allow you to lock down the program so users without Admin rights can't make changes. But his is a small criticism for a program that is free. Review by Ben: I liked TextHarvest, which is like the beginners version of this program. Anyway, I just got handed a job where I had to fix up a comma delim file and I was going to do it in a regular language. Then I thought, I'll try doing it using POMPT and it was way easier.
