Free Audio Software

Review by arnond: I thought it was freeware Wavepad has been a superb utility for editing MP3 samples. I have been samplib my old vinyl to computer and wavepad is excelelnt for thoe albums where there is no gap between tracks. Easy to use and efficient. Good job. For some reason, I thought it was freeware and was surprised to be tapped for cash at the end of the built-in trial period (which I was unaware of). Seems to have uninstalled cleanly. Review by Enso: Instead of playing the DVD, it starts loading from the disc, and freezes the computer before the disc is "loaded". Never got beyond a screen saying "loading please wait - 6%". It might be free, but it is also CRAP! (1/5 - 27-Nov-2006)
