NoWorrys kidSafe internet filter (freeware)
and
PpGuard kidSafe internet filter (shareware)
both of which work on a TrustFile principle:
If its in the TrustFile, kids can go there.
Both programs are 5-Star products.

Review by PC: Good at what it is supposed to do. Just to good sometimes and blocks words of very common (and innocent) usage. The word list can be edited to take these out but this is tedious and some can be missed. It should have categories or tiered levels.
Also in default settings you don't even realise a site has been blocked, so I suggest you alter it to load a specific page. (4/5 - 26-Nov-2006)

Review by theduke84: One good way to play files with big buttons :) . Lot's of potential in the future and it's free. I can watch my tv shows and movie from 10 feet and still be able to see the user interface. I even installed it on my father's(65+) computer for is mp3s and movies. That's so easy for him now.
I do like freeware and I help authors the way I can(reviews like this, click ads/donation or tell friends) Keep it up! (4/5 - 9-Mar-2007)

Instead of playing the DVD, it starts loading from the disc, and freezes the computer before the disc is "loaded". Never got beyond a screen saying "loading please wait - 6%".
This method would work great except that for software that is distributed to end-users - it wouldn't work too well, considering they either need XP or the WMI classes installed AND they need admini...

Despite their advertising, ShareCalendar IS NOT COMPATIBLE with Outlook 2007. It crashes the system. Because I was a few days beyond their return policy when I spent the time to trace the problem...
