Natural Voice Text To Speech Freeware

Review by professor m: Simply the best text to speech application I have ever used. Simplicity is the key---it does what it says. So easy I can start, pause, and restart while driving. An absolute dream on long commutes to catch up with reading. If you can put it on the Windows clipboard, this program can read it back to you. And it gives you tremendous control over the speed and sound of the voices. I hope they release a text to MP3 add-on because I will grab it. These people know what they are doing! (5/5 - 5-Dec-2007)

Review by Mark: The free copy works great. I had problems downloading an AT&T voice from their site and got a rather inept responce from their help desk. They told me a third party download tool would fix the problem but it did not. The install process is telling me it's corrupt and their help desk is telling me it's not. (5/5 - 9-Mar-2008) Review by dragonme: I have not tried any other text-to-speech program yet, but this one is definately good for what I need it for. I am currently trying to learn C++ but I get annoyed reading black and white pages because my eyes seem to tweak out after awhile, but this is very nice as it allows you to track where it is in the text, you can speed the reading up, slow it down, change the volume on it, or change the pitch. It's very easy to read and comprehend something when your listening to what your reading and you are able to read it easier since its being tracked in gray-highlights. This program is not very customizable, but it is very useful. (5/5 - 4-Oct-2007)

Review by Sting ray: I didn't know that this kind of software existed and i have not had so much fun with a software before. Just call a friend and use DoNaut to change your voice.
