Scheduling Board Freeware

Review by Brian: This program is probably best utilized by a large business that assigns employees to the same tasks on unchanging shifts every week. Review by Robert: We've been using this program on a Novell network for a few years now, and it's okay but unreliable. Looking for a better solution. Who's In crashes the moment there's any network hiccup and leaves the user marked "In". Limited presence sensing: only detects "locked" or "screen saver active". Uses Microsoft Access database back end, runs the interface executable over the network. File locks don't get released (probably Novell issue) and causes "too many active users" or "database locked by..." messages. (3/5 - 23-Apr-2007) Review by D'Wayne Switzer: We have used the Who's-In product for nearly 5 years now and it has become a tool that our 200+ users just cannot live without. With having offices in different countries, it allows staff at each location to know when people are in the office, lunch, etc. We have also integrated it into our Citrix Metaframe published desktop, allowing our telecommuters to keep track of the status of people they work with. We have easily upgraded the product at least four times to take advantage of new features that are routinely added. Our favorite features are "display photo" which allows a user to right click on a users name and display a picture of the person and "status tracking" so that we are alerted when that certain person we are waiting on r... Review by SyncBack Freeware User: I've used SyncBack for a year and a half and it's never given me a moments trouble. It's by far the best freeware backup program I've ever used. Actually, you'll be hard pushed to find a better freeware program, period. I've always found their forums very well supported, and they've an excellent online support area. (5/5 - 20-Jul-2005) Review by Not an angry man: The hundreds of thousands of people who downloaded it and are using it without any problem must all be wrong, and Simon Smith so right. Perhaps Simon should have tried posting a sensible message to the forums instead of a nonsensical rant about how he wasn't even going to use it anyway. Perhaps he could even have submitted a support ticket? Perhaps he could even have read the message right before his asking for help on exactly the same problem? Posted the fact that the software wouldn't work along with the error message I was getting and guess what- do you think I got a helpful reply? No!! They just removed my post from the forum!
