Review by jeff.: customer service does not work.. been trying to order online and via phone for three hrs and getting no where fast. Indian customer service that does not know how to speak beyond script. Wasted hrs of my time for absolutly no answer nor help. Run don't walk away from this product. its like they don't even want you to buy it. In todays processors it should be three min not three hrs. my advice.. find a different product. Review by Tom Betress: I purchased Hard Drive Mechanic. I am a network engineer, teach in the computer science division at a college and have my own consulting business. I have come across many problems that appear to have no explanation for cause and sometimes no FIX either. I was working on a machine for a company that had a "hard drive crash". All their accounting information was on there with no backup. Couldn't access the drive no matter what utilities I tried. thought it was a gonner for sure. I tried Norton Util, MicroScope, etc., and no luck. At my local computer store Ind saw they had Hard Drive Mechanic, figured I had nothing to loose and my customer obviously couldn't be in any worst condition.
