Review by tbr: 7.3.1.3 does not backup some files though no process is using them, no reason given, saved backup jobs just fail for no apparent reason, if file paths are too long file will not be backed up, logging does not work consistently. Upgrading to latest version next week, if these issues are fixed i will post an update. Scary if you really care about your data. (2/5 - 11-Jun-2006)

Review by Joe: Despite many positive reviewers and awards, extensive use shows that NovaBackup’s quality is only skin deep. It can be difficult to use, manages only mediocre backup speed, and is unreliable. After several years of using NBK I switched out because of the increasing number of bugs the company is unwilling/unable to fix and the poor technical support. (2/5 - 30-May-2006)

Instead of playing the DVD, it starts loading from the disc, and freezes the computer before the disc is "loaded". Never got beyond a screen saying "loading please wait - 6%".
This method would work great except that for software that is distributed to end-users - it wouldn't work too well, considering they either need XP or the WMI classes installed AND they need admini...

Despite their advertising, ShareCalendar IS NOT COMPATIBLE with Outlook 2007. It crashes the system. Because I was a few days beyond their return policy when I spent the time to trace the problem...
