It does not block other pop-up ads while surfing the Internet. Review by Joe: I was trying the IM lock to block mainly the instant messaging programs. When I noticed how it is doing the blocking, I got the idea to bypass it. I renamed the Instant messenger programs and they started working without any problm. This can be made by a bewbie into the programming world. Not a great piece to pay and buy.
