It installs unasked on a victims computer telling the victim needs to register to clean the spyware from its PC. We installed it on a clean fresh install that was tested with Hitmanpro. 20 minutes after installing errorsafe trouble started. It had found spyware that was'nt there before installing errorsafe... (5/5 - 13-Jan-2006) Review by Tomj: Be careful; this program was trying to install itself in the "background" without my acknowledgement, Hopefully my Virus Scan program kept track on this and warned me. I hate it when programs are bord crossing lines. I searched on google for this so called error safe SW and I found at a number of people who claim they have had virus and various problems due to this software. Review by ImageAnalyst: Pretty primitive. Can only wipe files. Can't wipe free space in disks, swap files, or slack spaces in files you want to keep. Also doesn't put an item in the popup context of Windows Explorer (when you right click). Bad English in program, and on web site (non-native English speakers wrote this). (2/5 - 8-May-2007)
