But the channels are poor quality and despite claims, can't ensure all channels are on or free to enter at will. Must be searching the web for free programs as user states above. (1/5 - 14-Sep-2006) Review by Mike: Terrible software. This software is a joke. It doesn't have it's own channels. The channels are free on the net by other providers. This is just a search engine. It can't control the number of channels, quality and certainly can't claim there's no subscription to some channels. There is subscriptions required for any good channels. Review by Another Involved Parent: I'm sorry, "Involved Parent", but I think that Matthew Lorton is right. I believe that video games and whatnot are just a scapegoat. Maybe in your case it is just a result of poor parenting. (1/5 - 5-Feb-2007) Review by Involved Parent: The project is very easy to setup and works great. During the two week trial period, it eliminated the arguments that we had with our two kids and between them. The realize they have their alloted time and if they want to argue with the computer they're welcome to (because it won't get them anywhere). When I used to have to take this into my own hands, they would always try to negotiate and throw tantrums on occasion. This really didn't get them extra time, but it was a headache. This was well worth the $49.95 I spent on the "Family Pack" so that I can install it on multiple computers. No more headaches. Peace has been restored!
