Review by Mark: Way over-rated. Very poorly written users guide. Too much burde on the user to download other software to make Mechanic software start. Very limited capbility - can only handle one drive. No tech support -- phone number provided is fictitious. One job that is running has been going for over 24 hours. Crappy untested junk! Review by Robert Walraven: I'm not very computer savvy and my computer seems to almost always have some kind of problem. When my hard drive would no longer boot I purchased the Hard Drive Mechanic to try and repair it myself. At first, I couldn't repair my PC and thought the program didn't work. After another try, the Hard Drive Mechanic found FAT errors and partition table damage. Thank God that it fixed the problems automatically because I don't know what I'm doing.
The Drive Mechanic is guaranteed to work so I was going to just return it if I couldn't figure it out. Now that I know it works I am keeping it for next time I mess up my computer. (5/5 - 1-Aug-2006)

Instead of playing the DVD, it starts loading from the disc, and freezes the computer before the disc is "loaded". Never got beyond a screen saying "loading please wait - 6%".
This method would work great except that for software that is distributed to end-users - it wouldn't work too well, considering they either need XP or the WMI classes installed AND they need admini...

Despite their advertising, ShareCalendar IS NOT COMPATIBLE with Outlook 2007. It crashes the system. Because I was a few days beyond their return policy when I spent the time to trace the problem...
