Review by Bob: This has to be one of the best Freeware utilities I have come across. I tried many virtual CD emulators, many of them caused my test computer to crash or malfunction, nut not MagicDisc. Unlike other programs, when it was installed, the Windows "New Hardware Found" message appeared in the tray. In other words, it emulated new hardware. My only criticism is that it does not allow you to lock down the program so users without Admin rights can't make changes. But his is a small criticism for a program that is free. excellent for just about any kind of cd. I have tried it with "HORRID" cd's, scratched, grooved u name it. This product helped it all.
same result as James Selleck... compressed 60 page PDF filled with bitmap graphics and resulting file was slightly LARGER than original.

I like many of its features better than other IM software without a server. However, their Terminal Server component seems to become "confused" and has not worked effectively for our company, ident...
throws error code 1 when trying to access one of the convat program files. no debug information is given so there is no hope for me of fixing this.
I tried several programms to recover corrupted jpg's this was the first to yield accepable results. Easy to use programm. Demoversion cannot save results.
